that the teenager killed Bankole when the deceased visited him at his work
place on June 15 at about 6.15p.m.
He said that the deceased, aged 18, met the accused cutting
papers with a scissors.

the place and asked his host to switch on the fan.
“The breeze from the fan blew away
the papers on the table.

an argument which led to a fight, and the accused stabbed Bankole on his
stomach with a pair of scissors,” he said.
Nkankuk said that an eyewitness reported the incident at a
police station, and the accused was arrested.
The prosecutor said that the body of the deceased had been
deposited at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital mortuary,
Ikeja, for autopsy.
He said that the offence contravened Section 221 of the
Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011
